Delight Clay is pure white in colour and is a extremely lightweight air drying paper clay, very soft and easy to mould, making it perfect for use on cards and scrapbooking. The non-toxic material is very clean to work with and picks up details beautifully, making it ideal for the many lovely craft moulds we have available. DelightTM holds its form while shaping and then air hardens to create an extraordinarily lightweight and durable finished piece. Make fantastic embellishments to enhance your cards etc. To use: Water base paint can be kneaded into DelightTM very easily and without mess to make an infinite range of colours with which to work. Of course, it can be coloured with any kind of paint after it's dried. Press the Delight into the mould, then carefully flex the mould to release the moulded item, then put to one side to dry over night. For long and thin items we recommend that you leave the clay in the mould weighted down until it dries to minimise curling. When the item is dry, you can then decorate it as you wish using acrylic paints, pigments, rub-on waxes, glitter etc. you could stick your master piece to a tag or pierce and add ribbons, wire etc. let your imagination run wild! But we do recommend that you seal your item with varnish or a fixative spray for durability. Please Note: Items made from Delight Clay will shrink slightly as water is lost while the product is drying. CRAFT TIPS Storage - After you have opened a package keep the unused portion in an air tight bag. If it should happen to dry out slightly while you're working or it's in the bag, simply knead in a few drops of water to restore its pliability. Imprinting - After rolling out lay lace or any other textured fabric directly on top of the Paperclay® and roll again to get the unique textures and patterns. Sanding, carving, etc. - After Paperclay® dries, it can be sanded and carved like wood. You can also build on to a completely dry Paperclay® object by just applying fresh Paperclay®
